The epic team at Oxbow Adventure Co, is happy to announce the promotion of Jess Moffitt into the newly created Events Coordinator role. Her new role will support Fleur Casey, Product & Business Development Manager, to deliver epic experiences for the Group and C&I markets.
Jess joined Oxbow in mid-2023 as a Frontline team member and has steadily grown into her current role as Customer Service Manager. Originally from Auckland, she relocated to Queenstown in 2023 and has been an invaluable part of the team ever since. Prior to entering the tourism industry, Jess spent five years in hospitality, including two years managing a busy sports bar in Auckland.
Jess shared that what initially drew her to tourism was Oxbow itself. She hadn’t previously considered a career in the tourism industry, but after discovering the company, she was immediately impressed by its values and the experiences it delivers. Since joining, she has come to appreciate how diverse, dynamic, and rewarding tourism can be, opening up long term opportunities she hadn’t imagined before.

Being part of a small but growing business has been a highlight for Jess. She has found it incredibly rewarding to watch Oxbow evolve, contribute to shaping the guest experience, and grow both personally and professionally along the way.
In addition to stepping into the Events Coordinator role, Jess will continue to oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring everything runs seamlessly while delivering the highest level of customer service.
